The snail series water turbine is suitable for places with a flow of water between 100 to 1000 liters per second and a water Head between 2 to 5 meters. This type of turbines have a good performance due to installation above the water channel and the use of water suction effect, their maintenance is reasonable due to easy access to the turbine and generator.

The functional basis of the snail series water turbine is that first the passing water flow must be diverted and the water flow will exit through the designed channel after entering the spiral duct and passing over the turbine blades.
